If the adjacent teeth are in excellent condition and do not need the repairs, Dr. Kimmelman would recommend the more conservative treatment of a dental implant-supported crown to replace the missing tooth. Additionally, a single tooth implant with a crown would be less expensive than a three-unit bridge at our downtown Colorado Springs dental office, being 1/3 the cost of our competitors.
If a traditional bridge is an appropriate treatment for you and you need two crowns placed over the adjacent neighboring teeth, we will place an artificial tooth between them to fill in the gap of the missing tooth.
